Baghouse dust collectors & fabric filters
When dust is heavy, hot, abrasive, or sticky, a baghouse can provide the reliable filtration your process demands. Fabric filters are designed to handle high dust loading and continuous-duty applications where cartridge filters may not be the best fit.

When to specify a baghouse over a cartridge unit
High grain loading, elevated temperature, abrasive material, moisture, or anything with a tendency to build on the media. Foundry sand and shakeout, steel and aluminum processing, kiln and dryer exhaust, heavy woodworking, bulk material transfer. The lower air-to-cloth ratio a baghouse runs at is exactly what makes it survive that duty.
It costs you floor space and height. In most plants that carries, and where it does not, we will say so before you have bought anything.
Media and cleaning method
Bag media is chosen against temperature, chemistry and abrasion — polyester for general duty, aramid where continuous temperature is high, PTFE membrane where the dust wants to build a cake that will not release, and specialised weaves where the material is unusually abrasive.
Cleaning method follows the dust. Pulse-jet handles most manufacturing duty and cleans on line. Reverse-air and shaker designs still earn their place on specific applications. Getting this wrong shows up as bags that fail in a year instead of five.
What we supply and install
We size and supply the unit, fabricate the ductwork and hoods, and handle the mechanical install in-house — including the support steel and platforms a baghouse usually needs and the access your maintenance crew will want at three in the morning.
We also service the ones already in your plant, including units nobody else installed. Bags, cages, pulse valves and timer boards for most makes.
